When Monsters Aren't Really Monsters: They Just Look Like They Are


Some strange creatures are called “monsters” because, well, they
are monstrous. The  Chupacabra certainly is. As are the Bigfoot creatures, the Abominable Snowman, the Jersey Devil, and the Mothman of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Other creatures achieve the term “monster” because of one thing: they are giant-sized. That’s right, it’s the scale that provokes the “monster” description, rather than the beasts themselves. Today, I’ll share with you a few examples of how regular creatures can be thrust into the “monster” category. How about something no stranger than as a turtle?
